Led the revamp of Walmart Marketplace's Listing Quality experience on Seller Center and updated the externalized API suite to help sellers improve item quality at scale.

Overview

Led the Listing Quality initiative at Walmart Marketplace — a strategic effort to help third-party sellers improve item data quality at scale, directly impacting discoverability, conversion, and buyer trust across the marketplace. The initiative spanned a full revamp of the Seller Center web experience and a refresh of the externalized API suite used by large sellers and ISV partners.

Approach

Defined the product strategy through deep seller research and data analysis of listing quality gaps across the catalog. Redesigned the Seller Center experience to surface actionable quality signals, prioritized by impact to search ranking and conversion. Partnered with engineering and API platform teams to update the externalized API suite, ensuring parity between the web and programmatic experiences for high-volume sellers.

Outcome
